The mattress itself is 13 inches thick, which is thicker than most foam mattresses. The bottom is made from 9 inches of individually wrapped contouring coils for the main support for the bed. It is wrapped in a soft outer cotton perimeter with four handles.

Overtop of the coils lays a four-inch layer of organic latex foam derived from real rubber trees. It’s weird to think of a bed made from rubber as being comfortable but latex has a bouncier effect instead of sinking like memory foam. This layer not only helps to make the mattress bounce back but also to keep your body cool. If you are a hot sleeper this mattress does a good job at regulating body temperature.

These two main layers are then covered in a soft and plush Euro top made with New Zealand wood and organic cotton.
